Your tournament point total will be determined by totaling points earned in 3 ways: points per each fish, points for each angler’s biggest fish, and bonus points awarded to the winners of the traditional awards categories.
Points per fish
- 2 points will be given for each qualifying fish caught and recorded
Points for each angler’s biggest fish
- A point value will be given to each angler’s largest fish; that point value will be determined using the following formula:
total of the fish’s length in inches plus its weight in oz. (Inches+Oz)
Example: a fish that weighs 1lb 14oz (30 oz) and is 16 inches in length (30+16), would record a score of 46 points.
Bonus points – Traditional Awards
- 6 points: First Fish caught
- 4 points : Most Fish caught
- 2 points: Biggest Fish caught
